“work-based learning” is defined as experiences at a worksite based upon a career/educational plan and connected to school-based learning. Work Based Learning (WBL) allows you to achieve valuable qualifications at the same time as gaining relevant, practical experience in real work situations. When you leave school you can enter WBL either through an Entry to Employment (E2E) programme or an Apprenticeship – depending on the qualifications you gain at school.
